After years of living, studying, tour guiding, and falling properly in love with this city, our six founders, Frankie, Louisa, Don, Oscar, Sanchia, and Tanya, noticed something that bothered them: the Stockholm tours that existed were built around its landmarks.
Guests were moved through the city rather than introduced to the local flavors that give Stockholm its texture. So, in June 2023, they did what people who care deeply about something tend to do: build something different.
As award-winning Local Xperts, we make introductions like this every week. We don’t need to memorise dry facts because we live Stockholm through our diverse creative passions, lived experiences, and different ways of seeing the world. We’ve designed urban landscapes, hosted events, and made a life here.
Our team includes career-changers, guides over 50, neurodivergent and BIPOC talent, and people whose paths into tourism have been anything but ordinary. That matters because Stockholm is better understood through more than one kind of life experience.
We can’t wait to show you the part of Stockholm that made us stay and will probably make you linger longer.

We include crowd favorites like the Vasa Museum, where it belongs, but more importantly, we team up with the most extraordinary locals to create experiences that fit niche interests. From our Literary Tour co-created with published author, Lola Akinmade Åkerström to startup hubs that showcase Swedish innovation, we design experiences for the culturally curious.
Not because we have to, but because a genuine conversation is only possible between a certain number of people. That's why we will never exceed 10 guests on a small group tour. And if you try one of our experiences with your large group? We'll always make sure there's 1 guide for every 10 guests.
We mean this in every sense of the word. Before you arrive, we want to know what lights you up and in what language. So, your guide knows what to linger on and what to move past. As a majority women-owned company rooted in Stockholm, we believe responsible tourism starts with how our people are treated. Our guides are paid fairly, and tips are simply a kind extra. We also choose to partner with businesses that are family-owned, women-led, and eco-friendly. That means we walk, take ferries, use electric cars, and yes, ride the Tunnelbana. Because how else do we show you Stockholm's subway system is the world's longest art gallery?
We build our tours believing you'd rather spend one hour in one extraordinary place than twenty minutes in five just okay ones. Because we know Stockholm rewards people who stop. The ones who sit with their coffee long enough to notice the light change on the water. Bring comfortable shoes and nowhere urgent to be. We'll take care of the rest.

Our literary walk through Stockholm was built in partnership with Lola Akinmade Åkerström, one of the most important voices writing about this city today.
Lola is a Nigerian-American-Swedish author and travel writer. Through her work, Stockholm becomes a place to think about identity, belonging, migration, ambition, and the stories people carry with them.
Her debut novel, In Every Mirror She’s Black, was a Good Morning America Buzz Pick and was crowned the most thought-provoking story by The Independent.
