Visit the park that inspired many of Lindgren's children stories, right across from the home where she lived most of her life. Lindgren's legacy as an author and activist will also be highlighted.
At the start, our guide will also pose a challenge to the group that each participant must attempt to complete before the very last stop, in order to gain the ultimate prize.
The Stockholm City Library (or Stadsbibliotek) is a must-see of architectural marvel, designed by the legendary Swedish architect Gunnar Asplund. You will get to wander through this iconic cylindrical Stockholm library and explore all of its wonders.
Go in and discover this library's best-kept secrets, as you navigate it through the eyes of our expert local guide.
Kungliga Bibliotek - the National Library of Sweden - has a royal origin. Home to the only remaining Royal library collections (which mostly burned down in the great big fire that destroyed the Tre Kronor Palace in 1697), here you will find one of the world's oldest books - Codex Gigas, aka the Devil's Bible.
You will also get to skim through the library's national archives, as you go on a scavenger hunt to solve the ultimate challenge we set at the start of this experience.
The most-overlooked and perhaps least-interesting building in Stockholm's city centre is the one that contains the most hidden-gems. At Kulturhuset - the Culture House,- you get a true-local, insiders-only, experience that even most Stockholmers don't know about.
Here, you will find the Kulturbibliotek, TioTretton, and LAVA among other very special and interest-catered libraries. Whether you want to end your cozy afternoon doing art therapy, playing a board game, listening to a vinyl record, or playing piano - and all of it for free,- there's something for everyone's interests in this cultural institution.
